Making a Will

Making a will is a way of caring for your family.

A will records your decisions and wishes about the care of dependents, the distribution of property and assets, and funeral arrangements.

But it is not easy to think about what will happen when you have gone.

Our approach is to work with you, explain the options, and respect the choices you make.

We can also advise on Advance Directives, or living wills. These record your wishes about what medical treatment you receive when you are not able to take part in decision making.

Creating Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPoA)

We provide advice on EPoA. We will ensure you understand what an EPoA is and what it means to have them in place.

Giving someone an EPoA means that person can make decisions about your personal care or your property when you are not able to. This is usually when you are mentally incapable of making decisions. For an EPoA over property, it can be when you are temporarily unavailable because of travel or other commitments.

We will ensure you understand the options open to you, and the authority you give to another with EPoA. We will also ensure that the person or people you give that authority to are properly nominated, and understand their responsibilities.

After hours appointments are available

We understand not everyone can make appointments during usual work hours. Contact us to find out about our set after-hours appointments, so you can get the advice you need at a time that works for you.
